It’s the most wonderful time of the year…but it can also be REALLY hard for both missionaries away from home and their families missing them.
When I was first thinking about the church’s #LightTheWorld yearly campaign I was going to create a calendar especially for missionaries with ideas for Lighting The World…then I realized, they are doing these things 24 hours a day 7 days a week!
Inspiration struck and I realized one of the best things we can do for our missionary is to Light THEIR world! I came up with 50 ways that you can send some Christmas love and cheer. The majority are free and ideas you can do for missionaries serving nearby or in another country. There are a few that will take more effort and time but the beauty is you have 50 ideas and 25 days to fill, so you should be able to find the perfect ideas for YOU.

I cannot continue without stopping to thank you for this list! My missionary is in an area where we can’t send packages or gifts. It has left me with such a heavy heart to not have him this Christmas, AND not be able to serve him this Christmas. This list came at just the right time! I’m trying to do one of these things for him every day in December and am 7 for 8 days and counting! Each time I feel sad, I pull out the list and do one for him. Thank you for this inspired post.
